twenty six bucks...
could've been better spent
could've been the last bit that helped pay the rent.
Oh the saying, it should go: a quarter spent is 26 dollars earned...
So now you've learned...
twenty six bucks
A tank and a half of gas
Two drink minimum and a crappy laugh, for two
Oh what I wouldn't give to spend that money on something more useful,
like Metamucil...
Twenty six bucks
plus applicable tax and fees
Twenty six bucks
You've got me on my knees
You say you've written it already
Now its outta your hands, Eddie?
Up to your boss. He's on vacation...
Tweny six bucks and it could've been better spent

Everybody wants to get where you are but they won't get far,
No they won't get there, no
yea
Everybody's dying to be at the heart of the scene, and I'm ripping at the seams and it seems like the scene is collapsing
Unto itself
Oh, no where you gone?
Oh, no where you been?
Wandering this way, that way I then find...
Oddities floating around my riddle mind
Where has my mind gone to this time?
Where has it always been?!
Wandering and wandering in circles till it brings me back around again
Well, I've been wandering and wandering in circles till it brings me back around again!
Oh, no where you gone?
Oh, no where you been?

Its these late nights on the corner of 11th and bainbridge,
somewhere between possible futures passed,
and a past about to unfold
These bittersweet tender moments, torn and yanked by force
From the squares upon the calendar
from the throes of growing old
or more comfortable
That's how it goes...
Its those mid afternoons in MoCo
Shiny new toy houses just built for the
real big kids
Who never wanted to grow up
Spending all the day long
Playing "downtown office" and store owner
Wishing all the while they were playing something "more funner"
They're done staying up late
They're done driving around to get baked,
In the Kentlands they now settle down
Giving space to new lettered groups of uncomfortable youths
With awkward haircuts and more awkward tatooes
Who will piss off the rent-a-cops much in the same way they did!
Much in the same you did...
Oh its all growing old
or more comfortable
that's how it goes
like the Huxtables
or the tanners
like Kevin Arnold

Nem Sempre o que e,
E o que sempre foi, mas sempre voce quer
Que vaca seja boi
E voce sempre diz
Que eu sempre falo a mesma coisa
Mas se e o que eu sempre sinto qual a escolha?
Se nao falar?
Sempre dizer...

Tiger Eyes

I look at you, in your red jacket
playing in the snow, with your hands in your pockets
and you look at me,
and you've got that puppy smile face on again
Oh, tiger eyes, you talk like a child
But you speak, just like a woman to me
It's a sunny day, in a national park,
Letting the leaves and the bushes
hide whatever they may and whatever they may not
Let who ever see, not, dare not speak a word.
Oh, tiger eyes, you walk like a child,
But you move, just like a woman with me

Inspiration, ain't been much a friend of mine
Inspiration, ain't been much a friend of mine
But when I sleep, maybe baby it'll come home to me
and I sleep, whenever I can
When I sleep maybe baby it'll come home to me
and I sleep, whenever I can
I'm gonna knock them down,
I'm gonna line them up yea...
I'm gonna set them up,
Just to watch them fall
Then when I sleep, maybe baby it'll come home to me
and I sleep, whenever I can
When I sleep maybe baby it'll come home to me
and I sleep, whenever I can

Rafa's One Man Band Berkeley
Travelling between Americana and Brazuka, Rafa's One Man Band is comprised of one man, and many layers. From driving funk
rhythms, to string heavy pop anthems Rafa manages to walk a fine line between ego and soul, digital and analogue, musicality and production.
The resulting sound is at times so reminiscent of a full band, that Rafa himself forgets that he has no bandmates.
